I think I've started my last billion entries with “I haven’t updated in forever.” Even over Christmas things have been busy. I have been working and was quite ill just after Christmas. Christmas was fun, quiet, which was needed after year (which became world war three.) New Years Eve was a bit rubbish, with me ending up in bed earlier as I was still feeling crap.

Work has been boring, but glad to have the money. I had to give someone some training yesterday, which was interesting, to say the least. We use a programme to put all details of clients on, and it’s a bit difficult to get the hang of. I was training someone who doesn’t use computers at all really. He had no idea how to press control, alt, delete, which you need to do to log on. He stabbed each one in turn, without holding them down. When I asked him to right click, he slowly moved the curser to the right hand side of the screen, and clicked. Oh dear.

I’m not really looking forward to going back to uni, this year has been so intense, but my timetable is much better this term with Wednesday and Friday off.

Thank you so much to [info]taken_with_you for the yummy fudge and to [info]wily_one24 for her pressie! Yay! You’re both so sweet.

That last day I LJed about? That night I ended up in the hospital after an asthma attack that wouldn't go away. I've been pretty ill since and my joints are playing up, so I haven't done any work all weekend.

Okay, enough of the emo!

My mum and I have always had this tradition that on Christmas eve we open a present of our own choosing from under the tree. This year my mum suggested that instead of that we make each other a little Christmas Eve hamper.

So - ideas! I think it all needs to be little stuff, as bigger stuff will be actual presents.

I can't think of any CDs/DVDs she wants, so that's out. I was going to get some chocolate, a small bottle of Bailey's drink. Probably a Christmas film we haven't seen. Any other suggestions please? It can be anything - let your imagination run wild!

A month or so ago I posted about my cousin Christine running the London Marathon (26 freaking miles!) to raise money for a Multiple Sclerosis charity. It's this sunday and she's raised £1281, which is great, but her target is £1500.

If you can muster up any money for this great cause to help her make it, even a quid or two, it would be much appreciated. You can donate by going to her charity page:

All my essays are complete and handed in. I have no work to do, nowhere to go today. So today is catch up on TV day!

Since the strike I've caught up with Dexter, The Office US, The Office UK, Life and The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

So what should I watch next? I'm not interested in Supernatural, Moonlight, Battlestar Galactica, Friday Night Lights, Jericho or Farscape, all of which I've tried to varying degrees. I would be willing to finish Jericho, I just can't be bothered at the moment. Will also try BSG again sometime, as I only saw the mini series thing, but am looking for something new.

I already watch Heroes, Gossip Girl, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice and Doctor Who.

Soo... does this leave anything? Is there a show on at the moment that's super amazing, and I should be watching? What do you like about it and do you know of a place where I can procure episodes specifically for that show? (As always, my post is locked, so episode community links would be great.)
